This the second ship to carry the name HMS Amphion was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Betts of Mistleythorn, launched 19-Mar-1798, 144ft long, 37ft 6in wide and of 914 tons builders measurement.

Sunk Nov-1820 as a breakwater at Woolwich.

Wreck sold Sep1823.

Won the Battle Honour: Lissa 1811.
