This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Amphion was an Acheron
Class
submarine. Built by Vickers Armstrong of Barrow, launched 31-Aug-1944. Appeared at the Coronation Review 1953. Arrived at Inverkeithing 06-Jul-1971 for breaking up.
