HMS Revenge (1859)  (10th)
2nd Rate 91-gun

    
This the tenth ship to carry the name HMS Revenge was a second rate, 91-gun screw ship.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 16-Apr-1859, 245ft long, 55ft 6in wide and of 3,322 tons builders measurement and 5,260 tons displacement. Armed with 34 x 8in, 1 x 68pdr, and 56 x 32pdr guns.

Used as a base ship from Aug-1872.

Renamed the Training Ship HMS Empress Mar-1891.

Sold 31-Dec-1923 and broken up at Appledore.
