This the second ship to carry the name HMS Fowey was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 10-Mar-1705, 108ft long, 29ft 6in wide and of 411 92/94 tons builders measurement.

Captured by the French 14-Apr-1709 off Cape Gato Spain.
