| This the thirteenth vessel to carry the name HMS Chatham was a sheer 
      hulk. (basically a floating crane). Built at Chatham Dockyard launched 02-Apr-1813, 146 ft long, 46ft 6in wide and of 1,691 tons builders measurement. One of only three ships built as a sheer hulk, other sheer hulks were conversions of old ships. Broken up at Chatham 05-Aug-1876.
