HMS Chatham (1691)  (3rd)

This the third ship to carry the name HMS Chatham was a fourth rate, 50-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 20-Apr-1691, 126ft long, 34ft 6in wide and of 696 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Deptford Dockyard 1721 as 756 tons bm.

Sunk as a breakwater at Sheerness May-1749.

Raised 1762 and broken up.

Won the Battle Honour: Barfleur 1692.
