This the first HMS Spartan was a fifth rate, 46-gun ship.
Built by Ross of Rochester, launched 16-Aug-1806, 154ft long, 40ft wide, and of 1,084 tons builders measurement. Broken up Apr-1822. Won the Battle Honour: Bay of Naples 1810.
