This the second ship to carry the name HMS Salisbury was a fourth rate, 54-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 03-Jul-1707, 130ft long, 35ft wide and of 703 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Portsmouth 1726 as 756 tons bm.

Hulked Feb-1744.

Sold 01-May-1749.
