This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Ranger was a 16-gun, cutter.

Built by Avery of Dartmouth, bought May-1806, 80ft long, 26ft wide and of 217 tons builders measurement.

Renamed HMS Pygmy 29-May-1806.

Lost Jun-1814.
