Cutter 14-gun

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Ranger was a 14-gun, cutter.

Bought Feb-1787, 75ft long, 25ft 6in wide and of 195 tons builders measurement.

Captured by the French off Brest 14-Oct-1797 and renamed Venturer.

Won the Battle Honour: First of June 1794,

Sold Feb-1802 at Gibraltar.
