This the second ship to carry the name HMS Penelope was a
fifth rate 32-gun, ship. Built by Barton of Liverpool, launched 27-Oct-1783, 129ft long, 36ft wide and of 721 tons builders measurement. Broken up Nov-1797 at Chatham.
