3rd Rate 74-gun 

    
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Kent was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built by Perry of Blackwall, launched 17-Jan-1798, 183ft long, 50ft wide and of 1,694 tons builders measurement. 

Used as a sheer hulk from 1856.

Broken up 1881.

Won the Battle Honour: Egypt 1801.
