This the third ship to carry the name HMS Kent was a third rate 70-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 1746, 155ft long, 44ft 6in wide and of 1,309 tons builders measurement. 

Hulked 1760 in the East Indies.

Won the Battle Honour: Ushant 1746.
