This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Hastings was a fifth rate, 44-gun, ship.

Built by Okill of Liverpool, launched 07-Mar-1741, 124ft long, 36ft long, and of 682 tons builders measurement.

Broken up at Sheerness, completed 19-Sep-1763.
