This the second ship to carry the name HMS Calcutta was a second rate, 84-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Bombay Dockyard, launched 13-Mar-1805, 197ft long, 52ft 6in wide and of 2,299 tons builders measurement.

Used as a gunnery ship from 1865.

Sold 12-May-1908.

Won the Battle Honours: Baltic 1855 and China 1856-60.
