This the first ship to carry the name HMS Bridgewater was a 58-gun, ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 1654, and of 743 tons builders measurement.

Renamed HMS Ann 1660.

Blown up 02-Dec-1673 at Sheerness.

Won the Battle Honours: Porto Farina 1655 and Santa Cruz 1657.
