This the first ship to carry the name HMS Belleisle was a third rate, 64-gun, ship-of-the -line.

Originally a French East Indiaman (Berlin) captured 1761 and renamed. 168ft 6in long, 45ft wide and of 1,494 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Dec-1784.

Sold 03-Feb- 1819.

Won the Battle Honour: Havana 1762.
