This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Belleisle was a 10-gun, coastal defence ship.

Originally Turkish (Peiki Shereef) and bought 1878.

Built by Samuda of Poplar, launched 12-Feb-1876, 245ft long, 52ft wide and displacing 4,870 tons. Armed with 4 x 12in MLR and 6 x 6pdr guns.

Wrecked as a target 04-Sep-1903.

Wreck sold 12-Apr-1904 and broken up in Germany.
