HMS Worcester (1735)  (3rd)
4th Rate 60-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Worcester was a fourth rate, 60 gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, laid down 13-Nov-1733, launched 20-Dec-1735 and completed 24-Jun-1738.

Used as a guard ship 05-Dec-1738 until Jun-1839 when she went to the Caribbean. Remained there and the South America station until returning to Portsmouth Feb-1743.

Refitted at Portsmouth Feb to Dec-1743.

Served in home waters, the Mediterranean, Caribbean and south America until 1749.

Breaking up at Portsmouth completed 05-Sep-1765.

Won the Battle Honour: Puerto Bello 1739.
