HMS Volage (1825)  (3rd)
6th Rate 28-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Volage was a sixth rate, 28-gun, ship.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 19-Feb-1825, 111ft long, 31ft 6in wide and of 516 tons builders measurement.

Used as a survey ship from Apr-1847.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Loaned to the War Department 19-Oct-1864 as a powder hulk.

Breaking up completed by 12-Dec-1864 at Chatham.

Won the Battle Honours: Aden 1839 and Baltic 1855.
