HMS Volage (1798) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Volage was a sixth
rate, 22-gun, ship. Originally a French Privateer, captured 23-Jan-1798 by HMS Melampus off South West Ireland. 119ft long, 31ft 6in wide and of 523 tons builders measurement. Broken up Aug-1804.
