This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS St George was a originally HMS Britannia, a first rate, 100-gun, ship-of-the-line, renamed St George 18-Jan-1812.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 19-Oct-1762 having spent 11 years on the stocks, 178ft long, 52ft wide and of 2,116 tons builders measurement.

Renamed HMS Princess Royal 01-Jan-1812.

Renamed HMS St. George 18-Jan-1812

Renamed a final time 02-Jun-1819 as HMS Barfleur.

Broken up Feb-1825.
