This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS St George was a second rate, 98-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 04-Oct-1785, 177ft 6in long, 50ft wide and of 1,950 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked off the coast of Jutland 24-Dec-1811.

Won the Battle Honour: Genoa 1795 and Copenhagen 1801.
