HMS Serapis (1782)  (2nd)
5th Rate 44-gun

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Serapis was a fifth rate, 44-gun, ship.

Built by Hillhouse of Bristol, launched 07-Nov-1782, 140ft long, 38ft wide and of 886 tons builders measurement.

Altered to a 20-gun, storeship Jan-1795.

Used as a floating battery from Jul-1801, then a storeship again from 1803.

Sold 17-Jul-1826.
