This the third ship to carry the name HMS Serapis was a 3-gun, iron screw troopship.

Built by Thames Shipbuilding Co of Blackwall, launched 02-Sep-1866, 360ft long, 49ft wide, of 4,173 tons builders measurement, and displacing 6,211 tons. Armed with 3 x 4pdr guns.

Sold 23-Nov-1894.
