This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Richmond was a fifth rate, 32-gun ship.

Built by Buxton of Deptford, launched 12-Nov-1757, 127ft long, 34ft wide, and of 664 tons builders measurement.

Captured by the French ship Aigrette,11-Sep-1781 off Chesapeake.

Won the Battle Honours: Quebec 1759 and Havana 1762.
