This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Renown was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Dudman of Deptford, launched 02-May-1798, 182ft long, 49ft 6in wide and of 1,899 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from Jan 1814.

Broken up May-1835.
