This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Racehorse was a 4-gun, wooden screw gunvessel.

Built by Wigram of Blackwall, laid down 20-Jun-1859, launched 19-Mar-1860 and completed 1863.

Wrecked 04-Nov-1864 near Chefoo, China.
