This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Racehorse was an 18-gun, sloop.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 24-May-1830, 110ft long, 31ft wide and of 438 tons builders measurement.

Used as a coal hulk from 1860.

Sold 1901.

Won the Battle Honours: New Zealand 1845-47 and China 1856-60.
