This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Pearl was a fourth rate, 42-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Burchett of Rotherhithe, launched 05-Aug-1708, 117ft long, 33ft wide and of 559 tons builders measurement.

Rebuilt at Deptford 1726 as 595 tons builders measurement.

Sold 28-Jun-1744.
