This the fifteenth ship to carry the name HMS Hind was a Dapper Class, wooden screw gunboat.

Built by Thomson of Rotherhithe, laid down 18-Oct-1854, launched 03-May-1855 and completed 04-JUn-1855. Engined by Maudslay, Sons & Field.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Broken up at Devonport Oct-1872.

Won the Battle Honour: Baltic 1855.
