This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Hind was a sixth
rate, 20-gun, ship. Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 31-Oct-1711, 94ft long, 26ft wide and of 282 tons builders measurement. Wrecked at the Channel Islands 07-Dec-1721.
