This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Hermes was a  sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 22-Jul-1811, 120ft long, 31ft wide and of 511 tons builders measurement.

Grounded and burnt at Mobile, Mississippi, 15-Sep-1814.
