This the tenth ship to carry the name HMS Garland was a sixth rate, 22-gun, ship.

Originally a French privateer, captured 01-Apr-1800 by HMS Amethyst, 124ft 6in long, 31ft 6in wide and of 530 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked Nov-1803 in the West Indies.
