This the third ship to carry the name HMS Forth was a second
class cruiser. Built at Pembroke Dock, laid down 01-Dec-1884, launched 23-Oct-1886, and completed 1889. Following completion went into reserve at Devonport from 1889-1903, Then served as Submarine Depot Ship at Devonport 1904-14, and the Humber 1014-16, and Harwich 1916-19. Paid off 1919. Sold 08-Nov-1921 to the Slough Trading Co and broken up in Germany 1921.
