This the second ship to carry the name HMS Forth was a fifth rate, 44-gun, ship.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 01-Aug-1833, 159ft long, 42ft wide and of 1,215 tons builders measurement.

Conversion to a screw ship completed 21-Jan-1856, of 1,228 tons builders measurement.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856.

Renamed HMS Jupiter Dec-1869 when used as a coal hulk.

Sold 04-Aug-1883.
