HMS Euryalus (1803)  (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Euryalus was a fifth rate, 36-gun, ship.

Built by Adams of Bucklers Hard, launched 06-Jun-1803, 145ft long, 38ft wide and of 946 tons builders measurement.

Used as a prison ship from 1826.

Renamed HMS Africa 1859.

Sold 16-Aug-1860.

Won the Battle Honour: Trafalgar 1805.
