HMS Erne (1813)  (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS was a sixth rate, 20-gun, ship.

Built by Newman of Dartmouth, launched 18-Dec-1813, 115ft 6in long, 30ft wide and of 457 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x 32pdr carronades and 2 x 9 pdr guns.

Wrecked 01-Jun-1819 at the Verde Islands.
