This the third ship to carry the name HMS Boyne was a second rate, 98-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 27-Jun-1790, 182ft long, 50ft wide and of 2,010 tons builders measurement.

Burnt by accident at Spithead 01-May-1795.

Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1794.
