This the second ship to carry the name HMS Blonde was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Calhoun of Bursledon, launched 22-Jan-1787, 162ft 6in long, 35ft wide and of 682 tons builders measurement.

Used as a troopship from Jun-1798.

Sold Jun-1805.

Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1794 and Egypt 1801.
