This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Aurora was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Originally French, (Clorinde), captured 26-Feb-1814 by HMS Dryad and Eurotus in the Atlantic.

152ft long, 40ft 6in wide and of 1,083 tons builders measurement.

Broken up May-1851.
