HMS Andromache (1812)  (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Andromache was a 5th Rate 38-gun, ship.

Originally French, (Junon), and named HMS Princess Charlotte, captured 18-Jun-1799 in the Mediterranean. 149ft long, 39ft 6in wide and of 1,029 tons builders measurement. Armed with 16 x 32 pdr carronades, 26 x 18pdr, and 4 x 9pdr guns.

Renamed HMS Andromache 06-Jan-1812.

Broken up at Deptford Jun-1828.

Won the Battle Honour: San Sebastian 1813.
