This the second ship to carry the name HMS York was a fourth rate, 60-gun ship.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched Apr-1706, 146ft long, 39ft wide and of 987 tons builders measurement.

Sunk 04-Feb-1751 as a breakwater at Sheerness.
