HMS Windsor Castle (1678)  (1st)
2nd Rate 90-gun

    
This the first HMS Windsor Castle was a 2nd Rate, three-decker, built in 1678 at Woolwich Dockyard, and of 1,462 tons builders measurement.

She carried an establishment of 90-guns if engaged at war in home waters, or 82-guns in peace or war overseas.

She was wrecked 28-Apr-1693, on the Southsand Head near Deal.

Won the Battle Honour: Barfleur 1692.
