HMS Wessex (1951) (3rd)

This the third ship to carry the name HMS Wessex was a
drillship. Originally HMS Derg, a River Class (1942) frigate, Built by Robb, launched 07-Jan-1943. Used as a drillship from 1951 and renamed HMS Wessex. A short time later, renamed HMS Cambria. Arrived at Newport for breaking up Sep-1960.
