This the third ship to carry the name HMS Violet was a 10-gun, lugger.

Originally a Customs Service Vessel transferred 1806, 60ft 6in long, 18ft 6in wide and of 82 tons builders measurement. Armed with 10 x 12pdr carronades.

Broken up Jun-1812.
