6th Rate 20-gun

    
This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Unicorn was a sixth rate, 20-gun ship.

Built by Randall of Rotherhithe, launched 23-Mar-1776, 108ft long, 30ft wide and of 433 tons builders measurement.

Captured 04-Sep-1780 by the French ship Andromaque, in the West Indies. Renamed Licorne.

Recaptured 20-Apr-1781.

Broken up Aug-1787 at Deptford.
