HMS Tiger (1546) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Tiger was a 22-gun,
galleasse. Built 1546, and of 160 tons builders measurement. Armed with 6 x 9pdr, 14 x 6pdr and 2 x 2pdr guns. Rebuilt 1570 as a galleon of 200 tons bm. Used as a floating battery from 1600. Condemned 1605. Won the Battle Honour: Armada 1588.
