HMS Thunderer (1760) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Thunderer was a third rate,
74-gun ship-of-the-line. Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 19-Mar-1760, 166ft 6in, 47ft wide and of 1,609 tons builders measurement. Foundered in a hurricane in the West Indies 05-Oct-1780. Won the Battle Honour: 'Achille' 1761.
