HMS Termagant (1780)  (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Termagant was a sixth rate, 26-gun, ship.

Built by Hillhouse of Bristol, launched 03-Jun-1780, 110ft 6in long, 28ft wide and of 378 tons builders measurement. Armed with 1 x 12pdr carronades and 22 x 6pdr guns.

Reduced to an 18-gun, sloop May-1782.

Sold 28-Aug-1795.
